SEO Tips 2019

As we roll into a new year, many folks are worried about the fate of SEO.  What will change?  What’s to come?  What actually MATTERS?  While the Google algorithm has made many tactics of search engine optimization obsolete, it will never kill it entirely.  Here are some tips for what will remain the ultimate goals in demonstrating great SEO techniques.
  • Quality Content – The most important of the bunch, your go-to for 2019 is still going to be to make amazing content that answers pressing questions.  Fluff won’t cut it anymore, kids.  What you say has to provide VALUE to the community.
  • Mobile Indexing – The future is mobile.  This coming year is going to see a huge push for indexing mobile optimized sites FIRST.  Make your site mobile-friendly or no amount of content and branding will save you from falling in the search rankings.
  • SSL Security – Google is ranking SSL secured sites over non-secured sites in the search rankings.  Bottom line is that clients trust your company and site better and will actually shop with you if you are Secure Socket Layer Certified.  The big kahuna, Google, has already confirmed that HTTPS is going to hold significant weight in page rankings.
  • Brand It – While your quality content is VIP, it won’t get you very far without a bit of branding.  By building up your online audiences and creating a brand that is more visible and active online, search engines will give more importance to your message because they see the community supports and seeks you out.
  • Interface and Speed –  Your website is KEY in 2019.  Make sure the user experience is flawless and that your site loads quickly.  Search engines are paying attention to how long people are staying on your site.  This helps them determine which sites are valuable to the community.  By making sure your site is interactive, easy to use and that it doesn’t lag or load slow, you can increase the interaction rate of users and if they check out other relevant pages during their stay.
No matter which search engine you or your clients use, these elements will be of vital importance in 2019.  By keeping these areas sharp or consistent, you can make a giant impact on where you rank in the new year.  Technology is always changing and there will be other significant strategies to implement in the world of search engine marketing and optimization but these core elements will always be important for this industry.  Keep them in mind to make the most of your 2019!
If SEO and SEM are not your thing or you simply can’t devote the time necessary to make an impact, consider hiring a reliable SEO service company.  This would take the burden off of you and let you focus on enjoying and growing your business.  Here’s to a wonderful new year!

Contact Forms: Needs Over Wants

You have probably heard that your money is in your list.  This is true. Email marketing is a powerful advertising tool and a great way to reach and engage consumers or potential consumers.  You can provide them with great content, tips, coupons and company announcements while occasionally pitching products or announcing new releases.  A loyal and properly engaged email marketing list tend to follow call-to-actions more often than not.  So, yes, there can be substantial money made from your email marketing list. The reasons a person may not sign up for email lists are numerous.  They could be overwhelmed by similar emails, not all that interested in your product or company, not finding value in the information you provide or you are too light on great content and too heavy on selling.  While many variations of these could occur, another reason they may not join your list is simply because you ask too much of them. All About Value

“Content marketing is really like a first date.  If all you do is talk about yourself, there won’t be a second date.” – David Beebe When you produce content, it should be a genuine work that gives information, answers questions or solves problems.  The point to each piece of content should be solving a problem for your consumer or somehow, someway making their lives a little easier.  If your focus behind making content is simply to snare more consumers, you will achieve the opposite of what you intend. It’s similar to that movie “All About Eve” starring the late, great Bette Davis.  When everyone found out Eve had ulterior motives and was playing on everyone’s emotions just to get ahead, she was left utterly alone with her fledgling success and began to crumble.  If you produce content simply to boost your sales or increase your followers, consumers will smell it from a mile away and abandon you.  Any content that comes from you or your company must be genui
